Our B2B and B2C ecommerce solutions integrate with various accounting/ERP packages such as SAP, SYSPRO and Sage, connecting seamlessly with ecommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, and Magento, as well as marketplaces including Takealot and Amazon. Additionally, we offer our own B2B trade store, enabling clients to synchronise inventory and orders effectively.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join our growing team at Stock2Shop. This end-to-end sales role encompasses the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to closing deals and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, demonstrating our solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful client onboarding..
Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and ongoing account management.
- Research and identify potential clients across various ecommerce and retail sectors.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities including cold calling and targeted email campaigns.
- Qualify leads according to our ideal customer profile and sales criteria.
- Present and demonstrate Stock2Shop’s solutions to prospects, highlighting value propositions tailored to their specific business needs.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals independently.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities in our CRM system. (Hubspot)
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and our product offerings.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback on client needs to inform product development.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and expansion opportunities.
Your skills and experience
- 3-5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or ecommerce technology.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing full sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Resilient, self-motivated personality with a drive to succeed.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot) and sales tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Additional requirements
- In-depth knowledge of ecommerce platforms, ERPs or inventory management systems.
- Solid understanding of integration technologies and API concepts.
- Experience in the retail, wholesale or distribution sectors.
- Familiarity with the challenges that businesses face in omnichannel selling.
- Experience in solution-based selling with ability to identify client pain points and demonstrate ROI.
